Tims 12 Tags of 2014...... January!

Hello and welcome,

Today I am entering into Tim's Tag Challenge for the very first time.  I didn't have all of the same materials, so I just used what I had available to me.  Instead of the pocket watch I used my World Globe die.  I also didn't have the Pumice stone distress stain so instead used the Pumice Stone distress paint.  I learn't a couple of new techniques like splatting the paint all over the tag which was a lot of fun. I'm really happy with the end result.  Pop over to Tim's blog and see all the great entries.

Have a great day!!

Wonderful take on Tim's original!! It looks brilliant with the globe die and I love how you have finished it and made it fit altogether, brilliant!

This is my first year of tags too :) I didn't have all the materials either and had to improvise as well. I especially love that you embossed the land masses for your globe die--its really eye catching. The water portion of your globe really looks like its been transformed into metal as well. Look forward to seeing your posts throughout the year.

GREAT job on the tag! I LOVE the globe! I had to improvise on supplies too! TFS!

Awesome Karen! How the heck did you get it done so soon? I am planning on making these this year too... never have participated before either. I am just waiting for the mailman to bring me the clock layered stencil I already had purchased in December! I have a few of the supplies already too... so this one should be fun to do.

Hi Maureen,

Great to hear you will be joining us over with Tim. I can't wait to see your creations. This tag was so much fun to make, once I got started I kept sneaking into my craft studio any chance I got. That's not always easy with a two year old shadow who likes to follow me every-where. 2014 is the year for some Tim. Karen.x

Greetings Karen, What Totaly Outstanding Tags!! You had asked the following: What are the numerals you used down the right hand side? Love them. Are they from a stamp or rub-on? Yes they are Rub On's from Tim, I pick them up at The Funkie Junkie Boutique and they are called..(Remnant Rub Numbers). My first time working w/ rub on's. LOVE Them!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day. Hugs Vada
